Our Mission
VietMD Clinic is committed to providing free medical care to individuals who are uninsured, underinsured, or face barriers to care due to language differences. We focus on delivering non-emergency, maintenance care for chronic conditions, preventative screenings, lab testing, specialist referrals, and benefits counseling to support long-term health and access to resources.
Our Purpose
Our work is dedicated to activities permitted under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, ensuring that all services align with our mission of serving the community through charitable healthcare.
Our Story
Founded in 2015, VietMD Clinic was made possible through the dedication of our staff, volunteers, and the support of Our Lady of Grace Parish. Together, we continue to expand access to compassionate, culturally responsive care.

VietMD Free Clinic is a part of Free Clinic of Michigan (FCOM) Network.

VietMD providers' malpractice insurance are covered under Federal Tort Claims Act (FTAC). VietMD Clinic ID is FC0328. Under this law, VietMD Clinic Staff are considered federal employees for professional malpractice insurance.

VietMD Lab is certified as a waiver by Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) CLIA (Lab ID# 23D2108363). The lab is processed by Detroit BioMed Lab in Farmington Hills, Michigan.

VietMD Clinic is utilizing state-of-the-art Electronic Medical Record Practice Fusion to manage patient's charts.

Medication prescriptions are sent electronically to patient's pharmacy.l

CEO and Founder
Huynh Wynn Tran, MD, FACP, FACR
Dr. Huynh Wynn Tran is board-certified in Internal Medicine and has completed fellowships in Rheumatology and Medical Legal practice. He also holds advanced qualifications in Dermatology from the United Kingdom. Dr. Tran serves as an associate professor and preceptor for PharmD residents, and is the founder of Wynn Medical Center Clinics, a multi-specialty network across Los Angeles and Orange County. He also founded VietMD in Detroit, part of a nonprofit dedicated to global medical education in Medical English, Medical Vietnamese, and USMLE preparation.

Long To, PharmD, BCPS
Dr. Long To is a board-certified clinical pharmacist with expertise in cardiovascular medicine and
pharmacogenomics. He currently is the Ambulatory Pharmacy Clinical Coordinator for Specialty Medicine clinics
at Henry Ford Health.

Logan Nguyen
Dr. Logan Nguyen is a current resident physician who specializes in psychiatry. He started off as a VietMD volunteer in 2015 and later served as volunteer coordinator while earning his medical degree from Wayne State
University School of Medicine.

Enya Nguyen
Enya Nguyen is a long-time volunteer at VietMD with a deep- rooted commitment to the clinic's mission. She manages the
recruitment, training, and scheduling of our dedicated staff to ensure the clinic remains fully supported. By matching
volunteer expertise with patient needs, she streamlines our services to provide high-quality, compassionate care to the
community.

Dr. Dang is an Intensivist/Pulmonologist. His expertise are general internal medicine and sleep related medical problems. He is also a licensed pharmacist. Dr. Dang is licensed to practice medicine in Michigan.
