When the QWCLOG.TXT file used by the Web Connector application is damaged or cannot be accessed, qbwc1085 error occurs.

The Web Connector is a tool that connects QuickBooks to several web-based programs. Remove Web Connector from the Startup option if you haven't connected QuickBooks to any third-party products.

1. As a Windows administrator, log in.

2. Go to C:ProgramData Microsoft Windows Start Menu Programs and choose C:ProgramData Microsoft Windows Start Menu Programs.

3. Startup.

4. Remove the QuickBooks Web Connector from your computer.

5. Open QuickBooks after restarting the machine.
