The scam spreader's clarification of his fabrication is that the polytheists of Ancient Arabia used to call their moon god Al-Ilah which implies God in Arabic and that they had an icon called Al-laat which they used to adore and that when the Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) "made" Islam, he blended the two names Al-Ilah and Al-laat into a blended name called Allah to have an alternate name for "his" God, hence he is the moon god and it is totally false.
